Objectives
The core objective of this AEMI Forum was to review a series of draft AEMI Working Papers, and determine next steps to move forward. A short trip was also organized to visit Chulalongkorn University demonstration project for a waste-to-energy biomass power plant.
Outcomes
The participants agreed to finalise four AEMI Working Papers for publication on the AEMI Initiative Website: (a) An assessment of trade and investment barriers in energy services in ASEAN; (b) Benefits of ASEAN energy market integration: A survey of the literature; (c) ASEAN Energy Technology Strategy 2015-2030; and (d) The need for a geopolitical strategy for ASEAN energy security.
